No, this time I'm talking about some serious Men of Conscience, I'm talking about construction workers who are taking a pledge to not build a giant Middle Finger to America two blocks from Ground Zero. You can read about their reasoning here. I especially love the quote from the dude who said that he would build the mosque next door to his house, but manners are manners and building a giant trophy mosque next to a huge Islamic terrorist strike is just over the top and really needs to be recognized as such. He's being fair and reasonable.
But 1776 you say, shouldn't they have the RIGHT to build their mosque there?
To which I say, well you have the right to stand up and make fart jokes at a wedding ceremony, does it mean you should?
